This luxurious old house, located in the prestigious Kew Suburb, had not seen a fresh coat of paint in over two decades. We took on the challenge of revitalizing both its interior and exterior to restore its former grandeur.
For the exterior, we used top-quality materials such as flexible gap filler and exterior filler to address any imperfections. The render was repaired, and a meticulous three-coat painting process was carried out. This included one coat of undercoat for all wall and window surfaces, followed by two coats of topcoat to ensure a flawless finish.
Additionally, the roof received special attention, with a thorough high-pressure wash and necessary repairs, including re-pointing and replacing damaged roof tiles. The roof was also painted with three coats – an undercoat for all roof surfaces and two topcoats for a durable and aesthetically pleasing result.
The interior of the house required extensive preparation due to years of neglect. We dedicated significant time and effort to repair plaster, architraves, and fix large cracks. Water damage on the ceilings and walls was carefully addressed, ensuring a seamless and pristine finish. The interior was painted with one coat of primer, an undercoat, and two topcoat layers to complete the transformation of this magnificent home.
